2004

October 7, 2004      DICOM Protocol Analyzer v2.7.3 update released for Windows.
Laurel Bridge announced enhanced support for DICOM protocol monitoring using the Microsoft Windows environment.
The DPA monitors and logs DICOM network communications. Designed for hospital network administrators, developers and field service engineers, it facilitates installation of DICOM devices and supports development and testing of DICOM interfaces on servers (SCPs) and clients (SCUs) by providing convenient, real-time monitoring and logging of DICOM messages. The DPA software acts as an intermediate node between a DICOM client and server: inspecting, forwarding, and optionally logging DICOM PDUs sent by each DICOM Application Entity. The user configures the monitored devices to communicate via the DPA; once so configured, the user may monitor the DICOM communication via any web browser that has network access to the DPA device.
