The DPS simulates a Dicom® network printer (Print SCP). Its primary purpose is to aid development and testing of Dicom print clients (PrintSCUs) by removing the need for a developer to purchase, maintain, and support a Dicom compatible printer. Users on the network send print jobs to the Dicom Printer Simulator using their Dicom Print SCU. Users can monitor Dicom transactions and view results of the print jobs sent by connecting a standard web browser to the Dicom Printer Simulator host.
